Steve, Pavla, Barbara and I from NorthCAhiking headed into Pine Valley for an overnighter. We visited Jack and saw an incredibly beautiful waterfall after a difficult scramble. Jack is full of stories, if you're ever in the area stop by and chat with him (and bring some bacon and eggs) ;) we also saw a ton of wildflowers, a 4 foot long Garter snake, a bunny, deer and a cool lizard. We ate at Phils Fish House in Moss Landing on the way home, funky but oh so good!
