Headed to Mono Lake and the East side for some fall color. Spent Friday night at the Gateway Motel on Mono Lake, paid twice as much as I should have for the room, way run down hotel. Met David(Drunken Marmot) in Bishop on Saturday after a morning of fall photography up various canyons from 395. We had a great lunch at Amigo's then spent the rest of the day fishing and taking pictures up near South lake, had a nice meal and awesome beer at Upper Crust Pizza. Camped at Horton Creek, a nice quiet primative campground off 395. Fished some more Sunday morning at a nearby lake and Rock Creek. Nice leisurly trip, I'll have to remember to do more of these ;)
